Where's My Magical Summer?!?

With friends and a significant other by my side there wasn’t much more I could ask for, except maybe some better grades. Oh, perhaps that my significant other didn’t go to school 400 miles away from me and otherwise live on the other side of the San Francisco Bay. << MORE >>

Down 2, Up 6

My time in college droned on quite a bit after the first week. I soon accepted my lack of a social life and began finding other things to entertain me (You don’t need people…).<< MORE >>

Welcome to College

I arrived at my dorm room, hoping to God my roommate didn’t show up. This is actually how I begin every year of college. I quickly grabbed the top bunk (Gosh, I always wanted to be on the top bunk!) and the window desk.<< MORE >>

Day Ten of Sixty-nine: Quitting that Alphabet Theme...

Because T is for I'm tired of this piece of crap theme.<< MORE >>

Day Nine of Sixty-nine: The ABC's of the Democratic Candidates (Part A of D)

Did you know that despite the fact that Barack Obama's parents would not have been allowed to marry because of their differences in race, he is against gay marriage.<< MORE >>

Day Eight of Sixty-nine: The Bloomberg Plan

He has to smile his pretty boy smile, speak in his southern accent and tell the plain truth—like his promises on Iraq (we’ll probably still be there in 2013, but we’ll be there the right way), Abortion (anything but pro-choice is offensive to women), The War on Terror (it’s not a plan to keep America safe, it’s a bumper sticker!), and Gay Marriage (the argument for it just isn’t convincing enough).<< MORE >>

Day Seven of Sixty-nine: The Iraq War

The role of our government is not to blindly adhere to the dictations of the majority. At the same time we can no longer ask our sons and daughters to die in a war which lacks an attainable goal. The time has not come for this administration to produce a new course for achieving a secure Iraq; the time has come and gone.<< MORE >>

Day Six of Sixty-nine: The Running of Ralph Nader

Look people, Nader did not cost Al Gore the presidency in 2000 and he didn’t cost John Kerry the presidency in 2004. In 2000 Al Gore was a bland shadow of the Bill Clinton era. His trumpeting of environmentalism wasn’t a popular topic and his running-mate left something to be desired. John Kerry was a bland shadow of well honestly, George W. Bush and while he had a strong up-and-coming VEEP option in the end Kerry couldn’t overcome himself—an uninspiring corpse of a man, I will forever wish I could take my vote back from him.<< MORE >>

Day Five of Sixty-nine: Live at the Oscars...well from my room...

Live blogging the Oscars...whatever that means...<< MORE >>

Day Four of Sixty-nine: National Football LIES!

You see Republican’s intervening in the NFL because of its anti-trust exempt status—which is against Republican economic ideals (although anti-trust laws are against Republican economic ideals (…except Teddy Roosevelt…)). Of course we can’t assume the reasoning behind Specter’s interest in the NFL is totally pure because he’s rumored to have Comcast’s hand in his pocket anyway.<< MORE >>
